Keynote by Prof. Edward Tufte

We're very fortunate to have Professor Edward Tufte joining to deliver a keynote.

Professor Tufte is an American statistician and professor emeritus of political science, statistics, and computer science at Yale University. He is noted for his writings on information design and as a pioneer in the field of data visualization (per wikipedia).

Keynote by Arvind Satyanarayan

We're very fortunate to have Arvind Satyanarayan joining to deliver a keynote.

Arvind Satyanarayan is a Computer Science PhD candidate at Stanford University. He works with Jeffrey Heer, and the University of Washington Interactive Data Lab, on new languages and systems for custom interactive visualization design. Arvind is also a co-founder and advisor at Apropose, a search engine for web design.

Data Viz Camp Registration

You don't need to make an additional ticket donation for Data Viz Camp if you've already purchased a ticket for another Open Camps event on the same day (other than WordCamp NYC or PyGotham which do require a separate ticket).
